The Resource Teacher will  assess, program, and collaborate with classroom teachers, parents and the community!           

-assess academic performance

-assess learning styles and strategies

-assess behavior

-assess basic motor skills

-program for team teaching in classrooms

-program for small groups

-program for individuals

-facilitate learning communities

-inform parents

-train volunteers   

The Resource Teacher supports the classroom teachers in the assessment of student learning.  She works in collaboration with classroom teachers and other professionals. She interprets information or data on students as well as creating and implementing interventions for students who are experiencing difficulties at school.
